Thank you for everyone that attended or was in someway involved in the panel discussion last night! We had over 70 people in attendance which is fantastic–the room was packed. We would like to thank our panelists Bill Brown, Ben Brabson, Jeff Kaden, and Michael Beczkiewicz for sharing their knowledge and opinions on this issue through intelligent discussion.

Department of Energy Solar Decathlon

October 18, 2009

For three weeks in October 2009, the U.S. Department of Energy hosted the Solar Decathlon—a competition in which 20 teams of college and university students competed to design, build, and operate the most attractive, effective, and energy-efficient solar-powered house. The Solar Decathlon was an event to which the public was invited to observe the powerful combination of solar energy, energy efficiency, and the best in home design.
